hotter than hot

So today Grif got paid, plus I had a job yesterday, which of course means, shopping!! But we need lots of stuff and was out for a freaking long time and its SOOO hot out there, and with stop and go traffic my a/c doesn't work well in the car. So I was sweating through every poor in my body and almost drowning. Bayvin has to finish her chicken nuggets and then we're jumpin into the pool! If not I think I'll have heat stroke. I should be ready for this, the heat ramps up, but guess its just too dang hot all of a sudden.

So for the 4th of July.. well 3rd of July, we're going ot see fireworks at Lake Don Pedro. Saw them there last year and they were pretty good. They are on sunday night so not really the 4th, but the 4th is a monday so doesn't work out well for the working peoples. Hopefully the neighbor guys will remember this year, that at 3am its no longer july 4th its july 5th.

Bayvin and I

We are on our probably 20th time watching Ella Enchanted this week. To me its much better than CareBears, but we also recently got All Dogs go to Heaven and Fox and the Hound, Bayvin liked both, she'll ask to watch "Dog Heaven" or "Copper". Ocassionally will ask to watch Princess Diaries, guess it means we're on a Anne Hathaway kick.

I got some adult movies for me to watch, last night I saw King Arthur, it was pretty good. I liked Guenievere being a warrior chick and all. Also got Hitch and Miss Congeniality 2, can't wait to watch either, but unfortunately Grif wants to watch both and stupid gaming comes first...

What I did to my nails yesterday:

nothing new...

Not much going on here at the moment. Father's day was cool, we all went and played mini golf and some games and stuff at Funworks.

I looked into becoming a manicurist. Thought I'd really want to do it, but really there's no guarantee of getting a job after paying 3500 bucks for school. Granted not that much money as learning other professions, but still a lot of money to pay into. Plus I do have the virtual tour business, its just not taking off as fast as I'd like it to. Also I do my nails about every other day, so I should be putting that practice to good use somwhere else... but alas, not gonna happen.

Grif and I both want to put Bayvin into preschool, get her some more interaction and learn stuff but we can't afford it unless I get some steady work.

Why is it that moving to Viroqua is sound better and better, on the financial standpoint. Just dealing with the small town and the horrible winters and the horrible summers just doesn't sound good. But a large house on property close to my folks and not having to work for a couple years sounds good.

more things..

Well, I got Grif his father's day present early. It was an intercom system since his lazy ass doesn't want to come down the stairs when the phone is for me, or if he has something he needs to tell me; but no matter where we plugged them in, there was a loud buzzing noise... so I guess the cheap ones won't work for us, and the better ones are too expensive. So back to the drawing board on what to get him for Father's Day....

Our 4 year anniversary is thursday. Since there doesn't seem to be any movies out we want to see that we haven't seen... I think we're gonna go to Outback for dinner. I miss the Outback, I loved that place so much, it is so good. So hard to go and spend 40 bucks for dinner when you know what that can pay for on things you need. Woohoo for special occasions.

Legal Proceedings of Medical Marijuana

That's just one of the many articles about today's marijuana issues. Will that change much, yeah I think it'll get lots more people pissed off. Thats way it has been, its always been against federal law, I think they just wanted to show regular people in their homes that yes they can get busted. How can this happen? Most likely someone in your neighborhood doesn't like you and feel they can be a giant ass and call federal agents on you. Not only is your neighbor cruel, BUT federal agents taking time out of their day to do crap like this instead of the real crap that's going on in this world is just WRONG. Who is getting hurt by a woman with a horrible disease growing pot... NOBODY... not only is nobody getting hurt, but someone is actually feeling BETTER... imagine that. damn courts... so afraid of freaking change that could make the US better, then need to make it worse, and I can't believe I voted for Bush the first time.
