Merry Christmas!
and Happy Holidays! and stuff!
My Life and the things that happen in it.
Went to see him 5 times, 4 times last week and today. Hasn't helped. A Real bummer, I was hoping it would do something and be closer to finding out what the hell is wrong with my back. He did mention if they can't find anything muscle wise or we begin to run out of ideas, have them check my organs. Oh fun. He's thinking it could be something on my ovaries or uterus or something causing the pain... so lovely huh? But I don't think that could be causing the pain in my hips, but never know.. just wish I could automatically just know.. and then could fix it or deal with it or whatever.
Niri is the most precious cat ever. She tries to give me hugs when I'm just sitting here typing, and leans up against me and purrs, its so adorable, she's got food and everything, so I know its not cause she wants something! I picked a good cat.
So I really gotta clean up the house this week. Lots of people gonna be here this weekend. Every time I think about it though I get tired. I gotta clean up the guest room, cause people will be staying in there, I have to clean our room and our bathroom because people will be trafficing through (the only shower is in our room, 3 full bathrooms and only 1 shower), I have to clean up the living room, and the kitchen. Told Grif he has to do the den, since HIS puppy is the one that shredded soda boxes and tree stumps all over the floor, AND he has to clean up the upstairs cause in-laws will be up there. 2700 square feet becomes WAY too much when you have to super clean for holidays.

Yep.
I had a headache since afternoon of Tuesday, and it wasn't going anyway, and I started to get nauseous it was so bad, and vicodin wasn't helping it, I tried to take other stuff, advil, aleve, whatever, wasn't helping. I get them now and again, but usually I get feel sick, dont' ever throw up, well I did twice yesterday, the second time was around 11:00pm and I couldn't take the pain in my back when I did it, so I couldn't risk throwing up again. Went to ER, they gave me an IV and some drugs, and I layed there freezing my ass off for a couple hours and then they took the IV, doc came in (yeah think it was like 1:30 when the doc came in, took forfreakingever) Just asked what was going on, ok, we'll get you some more drugs, and that's it, they gave me a Vicodin 10, which I already had at home, but whatever. Funny thing, they asked if I wanted 2, TWO 10s... I'm sure I would have passed out with that. I went home about 3:30am with a prescription for migraine medicine and some depositories if I get nauseous again. I would think the thought of putting something up my ass would make me MORE nauseous, dunno if I'd use those, and if the migraine medicine actually helped the nausea would be gone anyway.
Feeling better today, don't have a headache.
Been seeing a chiropractor too. I've seen him twice, seeing him again today. Hasn't help yet.
Saw my doc again, gave me a prescription for 120 vicodin, its a LOT, and told me to keep pestering the doctor's office and I should get in sooner. But that's all that they can do for me, is give me pain meds, they're all out of ideas which is why I'm going to the specialist.

That everything medical has to take so freaking long. And no doctor's office seems to ever been any better. Its been 2 weeks since the referal went out, when I called today they said they had gotten it. Now, if I hadn't called, when would I have gotten the message, and how long have they had the news? And unfortunately it wouldn't matter, cause I don't get to see the doctor til January 19th. I'm on a cancellation list, incase someone cancels, but that's still a long time.
So I call the doctor's office in what I would think would be enough time, based on what medication I have left. My doc couldn't see me til thursday next week, yet my vicodin should be gone. For some reason she can't give me any more medication and unless she reevaluates. re-evaluate what? I haven't changed, just the medication doesn't work. What the hell. I had to leave yet another message to tell her well if she can't see me then another doctor does, and OF COURSE that was at 2pm yesterday, roughly, probably earlier and I didn't get a response, yet their phones and doctors are there until at least 6pm.
I keep telling myself that this doctor is better, they gave me free medication. One doctor FINALLY said that the scoliosis wouldn't be causing my pain. The other doctor blew it off that it was scoliosis and I needed PT and that's it. But the fact that my condition doesn't change, besides get worse cause none of the medication seems to help me anymore, that I somehow need to get reevaluated. For what? what are they gonna do? Nothing, they already refered me to a specialist.
The whole thing just sucks and I get stuck here sitting and laying and standing in pain, not that its is like a 10 that I need to go to the ER, its just that its constantly at a 4 or 5, constantly, and its just so wearing.

Heh, side effect, I can't think as well. Or maybe its an excuse.

Friday I was prescribed Baclofen. My friend Mike said that's what he's on and it really helps. Its a muscle relaxer and reduces pain and discomfort for nerve disorders, which seems to be what's wrong with my hips, they are getting worse than my back. But so far its not helping. I'm guessing I have to give it a few days, so I guess by Wednesday (which is probably when I'll be out of Vicodin) I'll have to give the doc a call if its not working. AND find out anything on the referal. Mornings are really really bad. Its unbelievable how much it hurts to get out of bed. Celebrex stopped working completely. And its gone so I'm not on that anymore. Spose I should call the doc on monday and let them know that I'm not on that anymore incase they still wanted me on it. 3 drugs a day, that would be wonderful. But Baclofen is suppose to do what Celebrex does too besides the muscle relaxing thing. My muscles aren't relaxed yet, but they sure are tingling from the Vicodin. I really like Vicodin, cept when I have to take care of Bayvin, or drive, or just plain do anything, cause I can't on it!
We got christmas pictures taken, they were so good this year! Cept for the nightmare of finding what to wear. But it turned out good, so I'm happy. We're starting after Christmas this year to find stuff for next year, to get it on sale and stuff. Hopefully I don't get fatter or anything. If anything it'll be a little big, damnit, I'm gonna lose weight soon as this damn back thing is done! They weighed me at 154 last time I was at the doc's office (um, 2 weeks ago) I at least want to get in shape and get these pants fitting better. I think about 140 would be good.

Well I got a new all in one printer. Canon Pixma MF760. Its pretty cool. I looked over ratings for a bunch, supposedly some HP was the bomb, but I like the seperate ink cartidges. It doesn't fax, but that's alright. The old one should still fax ok, just the fast printing on it doesn't work and neither does the copying, i'm hoping the scanning does work or faxign won't work. So I paid a total of $250 for the printer, so that puts off me getting a laptop. Soon as all my business stuff is paid off I get to get a laptop! If I can take a laptop on the tours, it should cut down on any bad looking images, or me having to fix them up. There have been some really dark shots and I don't notice it til I get home and look at them, Even some look fine through the window, but when they get stitched, it messed up some of the coloring. So if I could see if before I leave, I can make sure they are all GREAT. Also it'll have a CD burner, so I'll be able to give them any still pictures right there. It'll be cool :)

So I forgot to post on Thanksgiving and say happy Thanksgiving, big whoop! The exciting news, or sad news depending on how you look at it. I got up on 7:30am on friday to join the masses in holiday shopping. I was probably lucky we were in Sonora, not quite as busy. UNFORTUNATELY they were out of the Dual Layer DVD Burner that I wanted to get for $20, on the good side, they still had to 200gb harddrive that I wanted for $30. Though the HD isn't quite a christmas present anymore, heh, but you can't pass up that deal! Its just too good. So I'm still on the thinking end of presents for Grif. As far as presents for Bayvin go, I haven't even started. I have NO clue. I've gotten her a couple little things, but nothing big. I was thinking one of those big play Kitchens, but I'm not sure. Could get her a few more little toys, but then she's got so many little toys that I gotta get more storage boxes to sort out the crap. And she SO doesn't need anymore clothes.
Neither do I now... well shirts I always need. But I'm good on jeans. Mervyn's were having a GREAT sale on the jeans I like; Gloria Vanderbuilt - Giselle; usually $38 (though they're almost always on sale, but normally on sale for $29.99 or something) they were on sale for $21.99! So I bought one... and was gonna buy another, but instead Gottshalks was having them on sale 50% off which made they $19! AND cause I was there on the busiest freaking shopping day of the year, they were another 20% off that! And then I went out the next day and bought another pair, so I have 4 total now :) Now I just need to lose a little weight to make them fit better. Its cool cause they're stretchy, and according to them I'm almost a size 10.. but the size 12 is a little baggy... just need to lose that flab. Speaking of which...
So I'm getting referred to a back pain specialist PT person. On Wednesday they had given me Robaxin (muscle relaxer) and it didn't do jack. So I called today and they gave me Vicodin, it helps a little, but if I took more than 5/500 (every 4 hours) I'd be too loopy. So I'll give it a few days. Its also not good to be on vicodin a long while.
So my printer that I was so excited I got so cheap and was an all in one deal... well it sucks. though could be the paper, but I got this postcard paper, and when the printer does actually take it, when I try to print on the other side, the paper comes apart in the middle and it doesn't print the bottom two. Damn perforations and stuff. Gonna have to check if there's a paper setting for card stock and maybe it'll handle it better. If not I wasted money on that paper, and to use what I already did, I have to go spend more money.
I got the perfect thing for Niri's room, (second bedroom) since the litter box is in there, it smells a bit. Glade - Wisp... shoots out a little blast of scent every few seconds... can't smell the litter box at ALL, and it smells like berry bubblegum everytime you go in, its sooo nice! I got the new Glade Scented Oil Candles, candle is suppose to melt down into oil and keep it scent and of course blow out the flame and everything (berry scent as well) but haven't tried it yet.
This weekend we're going to get christmas pictures taken. Guys are black on black, Grandma and me are white shirts, black skirts, and Bayvin has this cute red Audrey Hepburn dress with a short red velvet jacket with a white fur collar and cuffs, its SO adorable! Next year we gotta go simple again, its always SO hard to match Bayvin, needs to be cute shirt and jeans, its always easy! Or go really cool and make the guys wear suits and us wear evening gowns! Yeah, that'll happen.... well Burlington Coat Factory does have really good prices on evening gowns....even suit jackets.

No herniated discs or anything out of the ordinary cept for the mild scoliosis...
Still waiting for a phone call from the doc to have an appointment to figure out what's next. Hm, anti-inflammatories aren't working that well, still get shooting pain, the MRI was excruiating, which means I can't lay down on the floor or anything for 20 minutes, and physical therapy doesn't help, and can infact make it worse. So what is the next step?
Ugh.

She had a GREAT day yesterday. We wanted to start out with chocolate chip pancakes, but not until I was back from the store was I informed we didn't have chocolate chips. But I got her a princess cake, princess balloons and some roses. She of course went "oh my GOSH! Are those for me?!" yep! "oh thank you mom! They're so beautiful! I love em!" She is the biggest gusher ever! She had no problem gushing over all the presents she got and saying a big thank you to everyone. It was too funny. Dave and Lesley got her a box of dressup clothes so the night ended with her changing every 5 minutes, running over to the mirror and giggling.
Harry Potter was really good, kinda scary in parts but she didn't seem to mind, she said she liked it and when I asked her if it was scary, she said just a little bit, but she liked it anyway.
Then we went to John's Incredible Pizza Place, and she had LOTS of fun, even we had fun, Grif and I went to spend tokens on the thing where the tokens slide off the edge and give you tickets. Well this one had this bucket thing that a token could slide into, if you got it in there you'd get extra tickets, and we found out if it gets full, it tips! Well the last token we had, I put it in, lands in there and tips, like almost 200 tickets spit out! It was cool! We're up to about a total of 1500 tickets (from like the last year) we're saving up to get Bayvin a good toy of some kind.
Here are some pictures

Got a new picture and some new colors up! So I had this convo with another DJ...who has seen what I look like.
He was calling the new Ladies Night on wednesdays that we're having, cause there's 3 female DJs in a row....
he called it a threesome of female DJs...
so I said
"you dirty old man!"
he said
"I'm not old! besides, you're older than me!"
I said
"oh really?!"
"I'm only 26, how old are you?"
he said
" *blinks* oh um... someone told me you were older!"
i said
"uh huh... so how old are you so I know how offended to be"
he said
"well if you put it that way I'm not answering"
i said
"no come on, how old!"
he said
"uh....
31"
so I told him he owed me and that he needed to dedicate Hot Chocolate - You Sexy Thing
so he did... and even apologized on air...
Then said
"well that song was for Larke, and the mess up I made about her age... but there could be something said about choosing a song from 1975..."
he so going down...

Its schedule for 8:45am on Saturday... guess I'll be up real early for Bayvin's birthday, but that'll work! I just hope it shows what's wrong, if not I'm really screwed.
Posted by Erin Priest at 9:54 AM 0 comments
My MRI wasn't denied a second time, but someone seriously dropped the ball there, cause that's what I was told, also told she had to fax it twice more, well nobody else seems to know that happened, so she didn't write any notes, AND I don't remember what HER name was. But now its supposedly still in review, gonna give another check up call tomorrow.
So for Bayvin's birthday we got her a Princess CD player, Grandma and Grandpa Scannel got her a Princess Big Wheel... not sure what anyone else got her, but we'll find out on Saturday! And I can't wait to see Harry Potter, its gonna be SO good! I hope they didn't leave out too much or change anything specific ya know...
Been getting a lot of jobs lately, its getting really cool! :) I hope it keeps up like this. Some of the house I've been doing in Sonora are freaking HUGE! And incredible views, one was almost 4000 square feet and absolutely gorgeous view of some mountains and valley, unbelievable, its also selling for 991k... where's that lottery money when you need it! There's also 3 or 4 more like it being built.

So my MRI was denied again. I called up the PT guy and asked if he could send in some notation saying that HE recommends an MRI and hope that that works. They just keep saying there's not enough documentation to approve one. Hm, PT didn't work and the anti-inflammatories definitely don't work enough, so what's the option after that? The Mobic has been working less and less, (waiting to hear from the doc bout upping the dosage). But it doesn't work enough to just live on that. Its rid of pain as long as I don't over exert myself. Like cleaning up doing laundry doing dishes going on long car rides, normal stuff that I should be doing, if I do all of it I start hurting. My hips have been bothering me more and more too.
Bayvin's birthday is coming closer and closer and WE still can't think of anything to get her. She's got so many toys she doesn't play with, so hard to think of a good toy to get her. And don't want to spend too much, like getting her a motorized car or a swing set in the back... We might have to combine Christmas and Birthday or something, and get something big. So hard to decide.

One of the first houses we went to, had a dog, she wanted to pet the dog more than she wanted the candy. Turned to leave and then remembered she didnt get any candy. So we continued on, the one of the few of the last houses, they had this little tiny dog, bout the size of my hand, she quickly put down her candy bag and picked up the dog! Couldn't believe how tiny the dog was. Not sure if it was a puppy but it was one of those small dogs and could have been the puppy size, but Niri is bigger than that dog was. So the next 2 houses we went to, instead of "trick or treat" it was, "do you have a dog?" But she was really cute, when she went to the door she said "I want Trick or Treat" instead of just "Trick or Treat" and she made sure to tell everyone that she was Sleeping Beauty.

Bayvin on Halloween
Posted by Erin Priest at 6:51 PM 4 comments
*sings* Doing the money dance, doing the money dance *sung to the tune of, doing the happy dance, from Basketball*
Did a tour for a house in Modesto on saturday, freaking HUGE house - 3700 sqft.
Doing a tour today (freaking Halloween and I'm working, woohoo!!) for forrent.com which means I won't see the money til december, from geting $380 bucks in December will be NICE!
Got at LEAST 2 tours to do next week up in Sonora!
money money money MONAAAY!
Oh yeah and its Halloween... I'll post pictures later.

I finally fixed the dress for Bayvin. She's perfect for it!

So my MRI request was denied:
"There is no documentation of a trial of physical therapy and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs".
In my records was "Going to Physical Therapy, samples of Mobic, 7.5mg given."
So they obviously didn't read that part, and they faxed my initial visit notes, but some how they didn't read them or it wasn't enough, and just said "no". That is where the stupid medical groups just suck ass. So my doc's office is suppose to be getting notes from the PT place about how its not working they recommend an MRI.
So since i'm out of mobic, my back is hurting pretty bad, but I got tours today and stuff, I called the doc to see if I could continue taking Mobic and if they could get a prescription for me. If they can then I have to WALK to Safeway. Its like a mile way. The Jeep has a flat tire so Grif had to take my car.
In other news, Grif flew to LA today for work and won't be back til late. Its his first time and I definitely think that's a good step in the right direction.
Think we're gonna be trying to go to Wisconsin in April or May, should have two free tickets by then. Grif keeps saying Disney World.. but uh, Wisconsin is MUCH cheaper hehe.

Totally forgot to mention I thought I had broken my foot. I jammed it in a chair, and thought no biggy, but then it started going black and blue below the toe area, so I thought oh crap I broke something. But no, still hurts though. It was really really stiff, and I couldn't curl my toes in any direction. Still can't "curl" the toes up, but down works okie, just always achy.... always have to have pain somewhere huh.
Posted by Erin Priest at 11:49 PM 2 comments
Well, went to PT yesterday, had me do this one exercise, on my back, knees bent and you're suppose to take one leg cross it over the other and pull the knee towards the opposite shoulder. My hips went NUTS. They hurt in the joint like they needed to pop or something and then the pain would shoot to my knee. Well obviously they had me stop it and then another one of the PT people tried to help me work out the pain, seemed to help. Think main problem was that I forgot to take my anti-inflammatory. Well because of the shooting pain the PT guy said I should probably call my doc and get an MRI schedule cause it was sounding more like a disc problem then just scoliosis. He said next session (tomorrow) he's gonna put me on this traction machine that's suppose to stretch the spine or something in hopes to eleviate some of the pain, usually do it for herniated discs and stuff.
I had a tour on saturday and 2 yesterday. Bayvin was gone all weekend, it was kind of a nice break, but I missed her so much!
We're trying to figure out what to do for Bayvin's birthday (Nov. 19th). Harry Potter comes out on the 18th, so we're thinking we'll take her to it, though it does seem kinda scary, but she liked the 3rd one. She seems the previews and really wants to see it.
Other good news, I'm half way done with christmas shopping. only need to get 12 more people gifts. So maybe not quite half way. I got 8 people presents hehe. Been starting early so we can get everybody a little something :)
Posted by Erin Priest at 11:35 AM 2 comments
Ok, so I KNOW that I am missing a post, cause I went on and on about how the PT guy hurt me. Was shoving his elbow into my hip in hopes to work out the kinks, so my butt was sore all day saturday.
Oh and I mentioned what happened to Nya.
We had to spend $220 bucks to find out that her leg bone is shattered right above the knee joint. The vet had only ever seen something like that when a dog was hit by a car. No clue how she was able to do this, but we spent $220 to find out there's nothing we can do, cept maybe later cut off the part of the leg that stopped growing. So even more money there.
I've got a tour to do possibly friday and couple tours to do next week for sure. Wish I could be getting more work though!

And that's about it. She put me on Mobic. Free samples too, that's always good. Said to make an appt with her after physical therapy is done, and see how it worked out, if it doesn't, then a MRI will happen. She was more concerned with needing an MRI because of the shooting pain I am having.
Kinda pissed at ebay. They suspended my account, because of shill bidding. Like I'd do that, its totally stupid. But they figured me and a few others were doing it on the night of the auction we had at The Cape Radio, we raised over $1600 for katrina victims. Not much in the scheme of things, but it'll help I'm sure. I keep emailing them, telling them to shove it up their ass and unsuspend my account, but damn bastards won't get back to me. But had someone email me saying I had to sign something that said "i did it but i won't do it again" and they'd unsuspend my account. I once again told them to shove it. And then they asked for me to give feedback on how well the guy that told me to sign that damn thing did. Well I haven't filled it out, cause the guy did jack shit. Ugh!

Physical Therapy.
Nareej will be my physical therapist, had me do this light exercises and I'm suposed to do them once a day. No biggy, cept for the fact of laying on my back on a hard surfaces hurts my butt bones. He had heard stuff that Dr. Cronin was a good doc, well I told him she may be, but her office sucks ass. But he and the nurse at the OBGYN said that Dr. Lisa Hunt was a good doc, the nurse even used to work at the office or something. on the PLUS side of that, got another free sample of seasonale, so in 2 months I save 50 bucks! Damn 3 month birth control costs, but so worth it!
Got a webdesign job! so in about 3 weeks I'll have $700 from that, plus a possible nother one for a Corvette club. Only be like $250 but still money. Waiting for another guy to call back about 2 tours. Thinkin maybe he won't know, that'll suck, but could get lucky. Been making my tours in CD for the lady in Sonora, but I should have charged her more, maybe her 12 CDs for $20, of 4 different properties, nice money, for me it was relatively easy, but Grif was like, its seriously expensive to get it done at Kinko's so you should have charged more. Guess next time I'll tell her it was a little more work than I thought and it'l be $30 for 12... but always makes me feel bad. I know I need to charge more, but I had money and I want to make sure I get it and not have people go else where, ya know?
Bayvin is gonna be Sleeping Beauty for Halloween. I wanted her to be a pirate, there was the cutest little kid pirate costume. But no, at first it was Tinkerbell, but then she decided Sleeping Beauty. When she tried on the dress, she was shaking she was so excited and happy. It was too funny.
Nya seems to be a three legged dog. Dunno if it'll be permanent, but she attacks Niri and Nox just fine, so she must not care that the other leg doesn't work.

My new doctor is effective Oct 1st, and I have an appt with her Oct 4th. We'll see how this works out.
My first physical therapy appointment is on thursday the 29th. I also have my annual woman visit that day too. So that's fun, at least the laying on the table with legs up is first, just incase I get really hurt at physical therapy. Either way both are gonna hurt.
Oh I haven't posted on this thing yet. On Sunday, Nya came in one dog door and didn't come in the other, Grif went to find out where she was, found her at the bottom of the stairs right inside one dog door and she was whimpering. He asked her to come and she hopped for a second and then fell to the floor. We decided to give it a couple hours see what was going on if she would get up again. Didn't seem to be her hip area, more like her knee was hurting. After about 2 hours we took her to the vet. The vet is open on sundays but the visit costs more, i found that a bit odd; $10 more. They wanted to take x-rays and charge $70 per and they wanted 3. We said no way, what our are options... well you can give her aspirin and she might just get better on her own, some dogs live just fine with 3 legs.
So Nya Lemon (new middle name) seems to be doing better, she went out both dog doors already, though decided to come back INSIDE to go poop. She's hopping along fine, but still spends most of her time on the floor. Even wrestled with Niri.
The strangest thing. Nya was laying on the floor, head and body facing AWAY from Niri, all of a sudden, Nya stood up and whipped around to attack Niri. Full PROOF that dogs and cats definitely DO communicate. Niri obviously said something to get Nya's attention. Just too funny.
So not sure if Nya broke something or tore a tendon, with either of those the x-rays would have told us how much more we needed to spend. Her leg is still pretty limp, so won't step on it, but seems to move it a little, so not sure, maybe could still be a sprained knee or pulled muscle or something.

She finally looked at my report. Said, yep she's got scoliosis and give her a referral to a physical therapist. That's it, can't even get an appt with her til friday, at which point I was really upset cause they wouldn't even let me see another doctor in the practice. Ya know just to make sure that is what's causing my pain. Since I was so upset I had the hang up on them because they kept telling me that she wasn't gonna be in the office and earliest I could do is friday.
So Grif had to call them back to get the referral. And they said that how I acted (being upset is a bad thing) was grounds for dismissal, and which point he told them, well she already has been looking for a new doctor. And now I get to close my eyes and point to find a new doctor in town. That'll be fun.
So I get to be in constant pain for a really long time, if not forever, isn't that wonderful news. And I have to hope to god I don't get a cold cause sneezing spasms my back so bad, its unbearable.

Wednesday, bout 10am, I call my doc's office, leave a message that the Relafen isn't working and that I want to know what my xray report says. Receptionists say ok, she'll give you a call back.
Wednesday 4pm, "oh sorry, dr cronin isn't in today" "well that would have been nice of themto tell me at 10 this morning when I called, don't ya think." "sorry ma'am, she'll get back to you by noon tomorrow, I promise, but we still haven't gotten your x-rays back."
thursday noon comes and goes, thursday afternoon: "why hasn't Dr Cronin given me a call back?" "well we haven't gotten the x-rays back yet" *give up*
Friday - *after 3 phone call attempts, press number for doctor calling for a doctor* "why is no one picking up the phone, I'm trying to reach appts" "sorry ma'am, call back and someone will pick up the phone" "are you sure about that?" "yes ma'am" *calls back*
"I'm in a lot of pain and no one has called me back and I've left tons of messages for Dr Cronin" "sorry ma'am we haven't gotten your xrays back yet" "why the hell not, why is this taking so long?" "sorry ma'am, i'll have dr cronin take a look at your chart and get you another prescription" *couple minutes* "what pharmacy do you want it called in to.".....
I'm wondering why the hell the radiology place can't get their act in gear so I call them up
"modesto radiology" "yeah I'd like to get some information on the x-rays i had taken" "transfering" "hello?" "yes I'd like to know why my doctor hasn't gotten my x-rays back yet" "oh doctor cronin doesn't get x-rays" "what?" "oh well she does get reports and we sent them tuesday" "what? they're telling me they haven't gotten them yet" "what? It was sent, let me check... yes sent monday and tuesday let me fax it again, its faxed"
*crying at this point*
*3 more attempts at calling the doc's office, get Bayvin in the car and drive down there*
"I have tried many times to get you guys on the phone and now I have to drive down here to actually talk to someone, you guys just got my x-ray info sent to you, someone needs to give it to dr cronin now to look at it and she needs to get to me now" *person that actually talked to me before* :pissy tone: "i already called in your prescription, what do you need" "i don't need a prescription I need to know what's wrong with my back! Could you please get the report to dr cronin" "cronin had a family emergency" "jesus fucking christ" (yes, i actually said that)
*drive down to Modesto Radiology and pick up my report and make all the people there worry because i'm crying my eyes out, and they're a little shocked that Dr Cronin just left*
My Report:
Lumbar Spine, 5 Views:
Clinical Information: Low back pain.
Findings: There is mild dextroscoliosis. The lumbar vertebrae have normal height and alignment. There is no spondylolysis or spondylolisthesis. Pedicles are intact.
Impression: Negative save for mild scoliosis
I called this morning and they gave me more crap that I can't be seen the doc has to take a look at my chart and they even told me she hasn't gotten my xray info yet... still...Which I reminded them, well you should have 3 copies, one from monday one from tuesday and one from friday, and if you need it I got one. And I would like to be seen today, nope, can only leave a message, and dr cronin has to look at it, well doc still has a family emergency and is only in the for the morning (how she can have an emergency and be in is beyond me) and I asked for another doc to look at it since she can't... well I'll leave a message for them and they'll get back to you. I reminded her that I called 3 times last week and nobody EVER got back to me, and she was like "i promise" and i begin to cry "yeah well the lady before promised me thursday before noon and i didn't get anything, i want a doc to look at it now or i have no choice to get another doctor and sue you guys" "i can only leave a message" "fine" *hang up*
*beginning to look for a new doctor*

Well the Relafen hasn't seemed to make any difference. I haven't done the exercises because they hurt! And massaging doesn't seem to do anything, doesn't hurt anymore or less when it gets pressed on. It's 10:10 and I'm suppose to get a call by noon, if I don't I'll have to call up and bitch. I seem to be doing that a lot lately. Damn people that can't get back to me!

The doc thinks I have some wearing in a disc in my lower back and either I had an injury that I don't remember having or it could be hereditary. I'm having an x-ray done today and hopefully know by tomorrow or wednesday... til then she's got me on an anti-inflamatory and she wants me to do back exercises, which kinda pisses me off, cause it'll hurt, unless of course the Relafen works... so lets hope it works.
Turns out Grif's headaches might have been cause by his eyes... simple enough solution. He's been off the medication and not wearing his glasses and it seems to work, his eye that's lazy went from being -1.75 to -.25 which means ALL of his glasses are way too powerful for him and since he doesn't use that one, he didn't notice. And he should be getting a new pair in a week or so. Yay! AT least one of us is better.

Still having back problems. Don't get to see the doc til monday.
had to spend $230 bucks on the pets yesterday. I was expecting almost $100, took Nya and Niri to get boosters and rabies vaccine. However Nya has mites... Demodex Mange to be exact and is now on antibotics and we had to do a special shampoo and this tactic dip stuff on her last night and have to do it again in exactly 14 days.
So there went all the extra money I made this month so far, but we did get Bayvin a new comforter and sheets and Grif and I had a very good date, went to eat at Chili's and watched a movie while eating Cold Stone and it was just a rather expensive day. And I got some new bras and new shirts for Grif and a bunch of socks for Bayvin, a new belt, 2 new pairs of shoes (since I left the other ones out and a certain puppy decided it was her job to destroy them... course Grif was the one that left the doors open to let her do so, can't leave her unattended in the house, argh)
However I should be doing another 2 tours this week and waiting for another guy to call that should have at least 2 tours for me to do. So should be close to another 400 bucks this month just waiting, so this month as been the best work month EVER. If only it would stay this way. $1000 bucks extra a month would be AWESOME! Though I'd like to just have $500 a month at least, that would be good.

So my back hurts... from sitting in a computer chair that I replaced cause it was giving me back problems. Just stupid me forgot. So chucking that chair OUT the door and getting another one.
Grif is still having headache problems... the neurologist told him he thinks its an aneurysm, so we're all going nuts here. Though the new medication he says makes the headache go away completely which means it shouldn't be an aneurysm... but we can even freaking know until this coming week hopefully cause of the goddamn insurance have to wait for freaking approval. And freaking docs making is panic uncontrolably and then saying, but you gotta wait til we get approval for a freaking MRI. Bastards. Though the regular doc gave Grif Xanax so that he could call down about the whole thing and make sure the damn thing doesn't burst if he does have one... if you're reading this and don't know what happens if it bursts, go look it up cause I'm not gonna say it here cause I don't wanna think about it.
so anyway... good news, we went to a LAN party last night, was a bit fun... not as fun as it could be cause they're all losers that wouldn't play Quake 2... but cause the computers were taken there gave me a good excuse to clean UP the computer desk that probably had about 10 layers of dust on it. But now once again looking very nice and clean, wish the rest of the house could look that way, but I'm sure by the end of the week the computer desk will once again get trashed.
Niri is becoming a dog... all nice and mellow when she wants to cuddle and sleep and all that but when she wants to play, its bounce everywhere on the dogs on the couch, fly over the couch to behind it, put claws in couch to run back and forth on the top of the back... good thing we don't care about the couch and the cover cause its just bout destroyed. But at least she's getting back at the dogs for bugging her.
Persistance pays off for puppies. I closed both of our doors to lock the dogs in the den. They're sliding doors. Well little miss Nya, i guess, kept clawing at the door and some how got it OPEN, proceeded to the bathroom, got the roll of toilet paper (new northern TRIPLE rolls) and shreaded it up and down the hallway. So instead of cleaning it up right now I'm sitting here and writing about it. Course I need to clean the den too, because (once again) Nya likes to bring in the pieces of dead wood outside and shread them INSIDE instead of outside. Nox knows better but I'm sure she's egging Nya on just to get Nya in trouble. Or Nya is just plain ignoring Nox when she tells her she'll get in trouble for it. Just depends on if we want to believe Nox is nice or evil. I vote evil, but that's just me.

So I've been learning a lot about linux, and how sucky some people can install it and run it, and then think someone else can work with it. But after dealing with really nice, and seemingly smart tech support people... we got email working on the new thecaperadio.com You would think that wouldn't be a big deal, but a few days later its a big freaking deal. Its not the tech support people's fault they have to provide support for a lowsy install of freeBSD, they just have to deal with people like me calling up and bitching about it. Though I have to give the web host props for being ..hm... i dunno... incredibly stupid?... anyway, they offer 100GB of a bandwidth transfer a month, for most people that's a fair amount. For people running a large radio station, that wouldn't be enough. However we're running a small to medium shoutcast server and its just not quite enough we think. But "we think" you ask? Yeah because well WE don't know and neither do THEY! They can't track it! They offer only 100GB transfer, but they can't tell if we use more! I've know this over a week and I still can't get over it, and my head hurts from shaking it at them so much.
I'm sure that some of you reading that will be like "uh... what? huh?" but anyway, had it to get it out there.
So I think we have a few stupid animals in the house. We have computer chairs with arms on it, but you can put your arm under the arm on the chair, you know the kind. Well everytime Niri wants to jump on my lap, she jumps through it, and every single time, she bumps her head on it, every single time, she has NOT learned... I guess it doesn't hurt enough.
Now onto Nya... besides the recent pooping in the house, she's been pretty good, oh wait, then there's the constantly getting into the garbage, constantly bringin in big brittle pieces of dead wood and making sure they fall apart ALL over the den. Oh and today she growled at me because Bayvin was being bad and I put her in her room and she was crying in there, Nya wasn't happy with me punishing Bayvin.
She also "styles" her ears. Not sure if she has control over it or not, but she seems to, cause each day it changes. Couple days she had the "bat" look, they were both standing straight up, she looked like a bat. There's the "ears to the right" look, where they both flop in the same direction. Then there's the "side pigtail" one side is floppy the other sticks straight up! Its really funny to look at, I keep trying to take pictures, but is so hard, she doesn't like the flash and after 2 pictures she's barking at me. here are some new ones

At our animal shelter.
so when get got Nya, a puppy, she came home with antibotics just incase she caught something while she was there. We picked up Niri wednesday and they said she's be a little sneezy because the surgery drops their immune system, so I didn't expect her to get real sick, but ya know when I was in there, almost all the cats/kittens were sneezing. However SHE didn't come home with antibotics, and yesterday I had to go spend $40 on antibotics. So really pissed that a puppy that really didn't need it had to take antibotics, yet a cat that came HOME sick didn't get them. That's like specism or something, obviously cats mean less or something, they live almost the same amount of time. Should actually be LESS to adobt a dog because they're a lot more work, have to get them registered and everything every few years. Cats don't have to. So what's the freaking deal! I called them up to bitch at them, and they didn't give a rats ass. "cats don't go home with antibotics, that's just how we do things". I told them they seriously needed to change that policy.

Granted there are about 7 running computers in the house, but the one I use the most "Mrs Priest" broke. Harddrive won't put, I'm still hoping I can grab stuff off it, but I have to install windows on another one. It such a royal pain.
We got our kitty. Thinking about changing its name though. I like Niri, but Bayvin keeps calling her Mary, even though she can say Niri. Kinda like the Lilo and Stitch episode she likes, she can say Keoni, but keeps calling him Toby. She asked Grif if she could watch it and he couldn't figure it out, she told him the one with Toby and the skateboard and the experiment, granted she got his name wrong, but I still could have gotten it! What other show has illegal genetic experiements, that would have skateboards in it?
Did I mention I hate installing windows?

This is the house in Copperopolis I took a 360 Tour of. The tour looks great, but she wants to pay me to come back up there and take some more pictures. Plus she has 2 more jobs for me, which as you know is awesome!
Posted by Erin Priest at 10:57 AM 0 comments
both of my tours cancelled, the day of. Not too pleased but nothing could be done about one, she had to take her mom to the hospital. Hopefully being reschedule for friday. Other one will be next week sometime. Oh well. This weekend either we're going camping or getting a kitty. Unfortunately Grif is still having sinus problems, and the dumb doctors won't do anything and its pissing us both off. He had a CT scan and it showed no reason why he's having these sinus problems but he's got fluid and swelling in his ears, and for the migraines he now has to be referred to a neurologist. So unless he can get something done by this weekend we can't really go camping cause coming down would cause his head to explode... well at least it would probably feel like it.

Been working on editing how this blog looks. Hopefully you all see it the way I do. Its definitely a royal pain, good thing I actually know a little CSS.
I now have TWO jobs to do on wednesday, money money money! Its always a good thing. I actually enjoying doing 360 virtual tours, I really wish I could get more business doing it! Only downside is its so freaking hot here in the summer, that I sweat really bad, do they make body antipersperant?
Been busy getting The Cape Radio's website up. Finally they're back up and I get to continue DJing again. Its really fun, though I haven't been in City of Heroes playing in awhile. Been busy playing World of Warcraft with Grif. Which is really fun.
Doing this page and The Cape and even doing a wedding site for Shon and Shannon have inspired me to redo my pages. Which will happen in time, gonna try to go with a nice uniform look. Even redoing CVVT's page.

It is actually NICE outside! considering the temp was getting up to 105, the fact that its 80 right now is unbelievable, but it is only 11:30 and it suppose to get up to 96, yesterday when I went out it was 90, you'd think that was hot, but I thought it was fairly cool which was nice! But tomorrow suppose to get up to 102... which will be nice for a saturday and swimming. Bayvin wears a life jacket in the pool now and just jumps right in, its almost funny to see because at the beginning of pool season she wouldn't leave the steps, even in my arms, then we went to my arms were ok, then a floaty was ok and as long as we were holding on, and then she would put on the floating and jump off the steps, next year maybe it'll only be arm floaties!
I have a new niece! She was born early in the morning on Monday July 18th! Her name is Victoria. She is the 3rd grandchild. Wonder who will have the next one, I'd like it to be us and that would be the logical conclusion, but with the way things are working, it'll be a ways off!

2 1/2 month old black lab - Nya.
Posted by Erin Priest at 4:15 PM 2 comments
Went to the shelter. They aren't the shelter's property yet, still strays, but we put down a deposit on a female black lab! Still thinking about a name. She becomes the property of the shelter sunday and then they have to spay her and then they'll call us and tell us to come pick her up. I'm hoping next weekend, but who knows. Then at the beginning of next month we'll go pick out a kitty :)

so Bayvin and I took a drive to the animal shelter yesterday. Adorable little male kitten named Adonis, I so wanted to take him home!! All white with a little gray spot on his head. But there were no black kitties, there was a black lab puppy, he was adorable, but he was a he. We need a she. Trying to get a she black lab or lab/shepard mix and a she black kitty, real tough project here. Found a number for kitties in the Modbee, but no dogs... *sigh* petting all the kitties really really made me want to take one home, a few of the kitties were sick though :( There was a HUGE gray cat named Igor, almost wanted to take him home. I miss kitties! There was actually a female golden retriever/pit bull mix, Grif didn't want it cause it was part pit bull, talk about freaking picky, but I'm sure she would have been huge! hehe

so July 4th we did go up to Lake Don Pedro, the fireworks were pretty good despite the technical difficulties that lasted for bout 5 minutes right in the middle of the show, and then the other 5 minute break before the finale. Bayvin was so funny and adorable, kept shouting "oh wow!" and "oh my gosh oh my gosh!" and "oh my gosh that's my new favorite!!" Where she comes up with this stuff I have no idea. The neighbors were up until midnight shooting off fireworks, I really wanted to go bitch at them, but Grif said it didn't matter, so I didn't. I guess its at least not 2 or 3 am.... but still sucks. I'd at least like them to get a ticket every year so maybe the next year they'll think about not wanting to pay it.
We're going to a wedding on August 12th, the couple won a contest and got their whole wedding paid for. So I'm thinkin it'll be pretty cool, but also none of my dresses fit so I get to go shopping. Grif thought the better plan was to lose 20 lbs, but yeah, that's not gonna happen.
My brother Eamon was suppose to come out, and it kept getting closer and closer to the time, and now my mom is saying its too expensive, and yet AGAIN lettting us all down and not getting Eamon out here. I think this is at least the second year in a row. Think the year before that they both came out. But Grif has been dying to get him out here to corrupt him.

So today Grif got paid, plus I had a job yesterday, which of course means, shopping!! But we need lots of stuff and was out for a freaking long time and its SOOO hot out there, and with stop and go traffic my a/c doesn't work well in the car. So I was sweating through every poor in my body and almost drowning. Bayvin has to finish her chicken nuggets and then we're jumpin into the pool! If not I think I'll have heat stroke. I should be ready for this, the heat ramps up, but guess its just too dang hot all of a sudden.
So for the 4th of July.. well 3rd of July, we're going ot see fireworks at Lake Don Pedro. Saw them there last year and they were pretty good. They are on sunday night so not really the 4th, but the 4th is a monday so doesn't work out well for the working peoples. Hopefully the neighbor guys will remember this year, that at 3am its no longer july 4th its july 5th.

We are on our probably 20th time watching Ella Enchanted this week. To me its much better than CareBears, but we also recently got All Dogs go to Heaven and Fox and the Hound, Bayvin liked both, she'll ask to watch "Dog Heaven" or "Copper". Ocassionally will ask to watch Princess Diaries, guess it means we're on a Anne Hathaway kick.
I got some adult movies for me to watch, last night I saw King Arthur, it was pretty good. I liked Guenievere being a warrior chick and all. Also got Hitch and Miss Congeniality 2, can't wait to watch either, but unfortunately Grif wants to watch both and stupid gaming comes first...

Not much going on here at the moment. Father's day was cool, we all went and played mini golf and some games and stuff at Funworks.
I looked into becoming a manicurist. Thought I'd really want to do it, but really there's no guarantee of getting a job after paying 3500 bucks for school. Granted not that much money as learning other professions, but still a lot of money to pay into. Plus I do have the virtual tour business, its just not taking off as fast as I'd like it to. Also I do my nails about every other day, so I should be putting that practice to good use somwhere else... but alas, not gonna happen.
Grif and I both want to put Bayvin into preschool, get her some more interaction and learn stuff but we can't afford it unless I get some steady work.
Why is it that moving to Viroqua is sound better and better, on the financial standpoint. Just dealing with the small town and the horrible winters and the horrible summers just doesn't sound good. But a large house on property close to my folks and not having to work for a couple years sounds good.

It was nice. The Outback was so yummy, unfortunately didn't get dessert, too dang full! I took some really nice pictures yesterday and framed them for Grif.

Well, I got Grif his father's day present early. It was an intercom system since his lazy ass doesn't want to come down the stairs when the phone is for me, or if he has something he needs to tell me; but no matter where we plugged them in, there was a loud buzzing noise... so I guess the cheap ones won't work for us, and the better ones are too expensive. So back to the drawing board on what to get him for Father's Day....
Our 4 year anniversary is thursday. Since there doesn't seem to be any movies out we want to see that we haven't seen... I think we're gonna go to Outback for dinner. I miss the Outback, I loved that place so much, it is so good. So hard to go and spend 40 bucks for dinner when you know what that can pay for on things you need. Woohoo for special occasions.
Legal Proceedings of Medical Marijuana
That's just one of the many articles about today's marijuana issues. Will that change much, yeah I think it'll get lots more people pissed off. Thats way it has been, its always been against federal law, I think they just wanted to show regular people in their homes that yes they can get busted. How can this happen? Most likely someone in your neighborhood doesn't like you and feel they can be a giant ass and call federal agents on you. Not only is your neighbor cruel, BUT federal agents taking time out of their day to do crap like this instead of the real crap that's going on in this world is just WRONG. Who is getting hurt by a woman with a horrible disease growing pot... NOBODY... not only is nobody getting hurt, but someone is actually feeling BETTER... imagine that. damn courts... so afraid of freaking change that could make the US better, then need to make it worse, and I can't believe I voted for Bush the first time.

Its official, I CAN scream like a girl. I think it was over a week ago that Grif said we had a rat in the laundry room and that it ran into the garage. I never saw it, figured that could be it, it would go away. WELL... last night I was doing laundry and Nox kept lookin at me funny and then sniffing by the dryer, even IN the dryer, so I was lookin around, didn't find anything. I went out to get more laundry, came back, she was doing the same thing. Then all of a sudden a big grey rat ran right between my feet and into the garage. I screamed, yep. Well more of a semi high pitched yelp of surprise. Scared the crap out of me. Good thing it didn't run over my foot, I would have been freaked out for awhile.
Went out to Target yesterday to get a new cheap phone for the wall. Ya know, incase both of the cordless ones die or we can't find one... whatever... I got one, 8.99. Well, when I opened it up and was about to put it on the wall, we got out the longer cord to switch out, well turns out you can't take the cord out of this phone! So now I have to take it back and find yet another cheap phone, royal pain in the ass.
btw, Happy Memorial Day...

Finally looked up on how to use the remote... Bayvin had lots of fun with it!
Posted by Erin Priest at 12:58 PM 0 comments
Well my crazy weeks have unfortunately slowed down. Had one tour on saturday... waiting for a call from another place that could be BIG money, but have to wait for them to decide whether or not they can afford it. It would be SUCH a great job! It would be dealing with one of the biggest realestate agencies in Sonora. So I could probably be looking at lots of repeat business, I hope!! So I've been keeping my fingers crossed that they call back.
Bayvin has really been on a princess kick. Always telling us, "No! call me princess!" either that or "call me horsie!" I wish she'd act more like Cinderella or Snow White, but unfortunately she's not that kind of princess.
So I'm sure everyone's seen StarWars, my in laws have seen it twice. I actually have no real interest in seeing it, I just know I'll have to. Grif wants to make it into a big party, watch the first two then go see the movie. One movie I can't wait for is Mr and Mrs Smith... Brad Pitt... Angelina Jolie.... how can it NOT be good!! I watched the movie Ella Enchanted, it was actually a lot better than I thought it would be, it was really cute and funny. There was one song in the movie that I can't seem to stop listening too now. "Somebody to Love", it was a Queen remake.. I actually like the movie's version better. I think I just like a chick singing better than Freddy Mercury, but their version is definitely good. I got Troy, through netflix, but I couldn't seem to get myself to sit down and watch it for 3 hours... its a long time... I'll have to try to get it again, but right now I have Elektra and Flight of the Phoenix, I'm hoping I'll like them, but I don't think I'll get time to watch them today, which of course will make Grif upset, but tonight is the 2 HOUR season finale of One Tree Hill! I bet they don't have a third season coming up... bet that's yet another show I've killed cause I like it.

So been thinkin about getting a kitten. Mostly cause there were these cute kids at walmart giving away their kittens and they were part siamese, but one was all white... might not have stayed that way, but it was so cute!! By the time I convinced Grif... they were gone... Bayvin was so disappointed... kept saying "i wanted a kitty but they were all gone".... the "they were all gone" is so heart breaking.... so I looked into getting on from the pound right. Well I was thinking it would be like 40 bucks or so to get a kitten, 20 bucks for shots and bout 20 bucks for supplies to start. Well the pound they wanted 55 bucks just for the kitten, which included first shots, microchip, and paying to get them spayed or neutered before they even could be!!! I don't really understand the microchip, i really want to be able to choose that, cause if the cat dies right away from whatever, still paid for microchip... plus don't want to have to pay for spay/neuter til I have to, ya know... don't want to have to spend that much right away. though thinking bout it, probably trying to find a black cat would be best, that way maybe Nox would see it as a puppy cause she's all black? maybe? hehe That's the biggest concern with getting a kitten, making sure the dog doesn't eat the kitten.

Well been pretty busy here. It was mother's day on sunday and I had a job that I went and did on saturday, been doing these forrent.com tours, awesome cause its all profit and since its commercial, its well paid! Yay! I really really hope to get more of those. I've done 2 now and have to schedule the 3rd. PLUS Wednesday I have a residential virtual tour to do! Which is great cause then I'm getting my real business out there, in hopes to get more.
Bayvin is doing good, has an obsession with gum though, always wants gum. Which isn't that bad, I only have trident, sugar free and she never swallows it. Amazing, she'll chew it for the longest time too. She's getting to be a little kid too, its pretty funny at times, she's told me "don't worry bout it mom", "leave me alone", "don't touch me", "it'll be ok", and "i saw mickey mouse! but i didn't like him, no". We been watching lots of disney movies and when she sees Tinker Bell she wants to go give her a hug and is very dissapointed when she can't, but then remembers that she saw Tinker Bell "over california, yeah, like this *wooooosh*"(arms out like she's flying)
Its only monday night and I'm getting way too excited for Tuesday night! Veronica Mars!! Season Finale!!! Just a wee bit obsessive there, but I can't help it, they sucked me in, tv is evil! And they have such a big plot going and that'll be the night we get alll the answers!!! Better be or I'll have some people to hunt down.
Grif and I are pretty out of shape, been trying to go back to the gym... its hard, Bayvin was sick for a week so we couldn't go, then i was sick for over 2 weeks and then we went to Disneyland... so its been over a month since we were going regularly. We used to work out for bout an hour, today is was more like a half hour.

Alright here we go, this is the important stuff.
We rode "Big Thunder Mountain Railroad" twice, probably would have been 4 times, but when we went back on Wednesday the thing was closed!! We were all bummed, Bayvin really liked it.
We did however ride on "Soarin' Over California" 4 times, it was Bayvin's favorite.
Some of the stuff was pretty rediculous, we had to stand in line for like 20-30 minutes for a 30 second ride, and that's no joke! Though while Grandma, Grandpa and Dad stood in line for "California Screamin'", Bayvin and I rode Tritan's Carousel about 4 or 5 times. It was cool, there was no line and we actually didn't have to get off. After each day we were SOOOO tired, my legs hurt so bad I had to crawl between rooms. Bayvin got to see some characters but not all... those lines took forever too... but the characters that could talk, talked for a long time which was very neat. Bayvin saw, Ariel, Goofy, Mickey Mouse, Jesse and Sherrif Woody, and Snow White. She got a glimpse of Sully, Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Buzz Lightyear, Cinderella and Aurora but we didn't actually stand for those ones. Maybe next time she goes back. Here is what you have all been waiting for, the pictures!
